The drum is made of solid duralumin (hardened aluminum) alloy with ribbing.
The patented surface treatment of the drum surface with diagonal ribbing is
the result of years of development and experience of professionals - a balance between
excellent grip (adhesion) and acceptable rope wear is thus achieved. In this way , safety during handling
is also ensured - both during winding and during lowering. Compact rolling bearings guarantee high durability and efficiency (low friction under load).

The gears of the internal gears are made of stainless steel .
