405-C Welding shield 110x90

The Climax 405-C welding helmet was designed to provide effective protection from radiation emitted during welding processes, as well as from incandescent particles released during such processes. No switches or batteries are required. The helmet is also equipped with fastener system that can be adjusted to ensure a snug fit for the wearer.

The helmet shell is manufactured of fire-resistant polyamide with fibreglass for high flame resistance. The helmet covers the entire face and neck, protecting the wearer from possible burns. Total helmet shell size is approximately 310 mm x 210 mm.
The fastener system consists of a headgear with two straps (contour strap and cross strap). The circumference of the contour strap can be adjusted comfortably by turning the wing nut at the rear of the contour strap and the length of the cross strap can also be adjusted to seven different positions. The contour strap has two cushions that prevent discomfort at the points where the strap touches the wearer’s head.

The lens assembly is composed of a cover lens and a filter lens of black welding glass with a thickness of 2.6 mm. Both lenses measure 110 x 90mm. The shield is manufactured with a standard filter lens of shade 12, although a wide range of other filter shades are also available. Adjustable glass filter plate.
