The Sixton Horizon STEEL is an S3 SRC safety ankle boot suitable for construction, wood and metal carpentry, farming, gardening and general work.
The upper is made from 1.8–2.0 mm Hydro grain leather and includes a reflective insert. Inside, the Breezy 3D two layer lining promotes breathability. A DUALMICRO double layer of slip resistant microfibre helps keep the foot in place and is resistant to up to 200,000 cycles.
The removable Climaction-Fit 337 insole is anatomical and ergonomic. Its absorbent, breathable open cell foam helps keep feet comfortable throughout the day.
Protection is provided by a steel toe cap with anti corrosion coating and impact resistance above 200 J, together with a puncture resistant stainless steel plate with acid resistant coating. The flexible, dual density PU sole has a self-cleaning tread and SRC slip resistance for indoor and outdoor use.
Dynamic Control supports the heel and helps control sideways ankle movement. StabilActive supports the heel, instep and tarsal joints while allowing natural foot movement. A W.E.D. strip with four carbon fibre filaments provides antistatic properties.
