ATEX-RA2 ATEX/UL/IECEx zone 0 approved 350 Lumen LED torch

The Unilite ATEX-RA2 is an intrinsically safe hand torch for use in hazardous locations and has an output of 350 lumens from a Cree LED.

Rather than facing forwards on the end of the torch like a regular hand torch, the light is positioned at a 90° angle, so that for example, if you need to inspect the inside of a small unit you could easily do so without having to hold the torch horizontal to be able to get the light where you need it.

Two modes of high and low are available, and are controlled with a single large easy press switch which is useful for when you're wearing gloves.

The ATEX-RA2 is powered by four AA alkaline batteries which are securely fastened in the torch for safety and require a screwdriver to open the battery compartment.

Please note that only specific types of AA alkaline batteries are permitted for use in this torch, they are as follows: Energizer E91, Duracell MN 1500, Rayovac AL-AA and Varta 4906.

The durable synthetic industrial rubber construction allows for 1 metre impact resistance, while the rubberised handle gives a comfortable, non-slip grip.
