B01170 Dielectric Maxi Overboot OB I HRO SRC FO, Class 1
A Class 1 (EN 50321-1:2018) electrically insulating dielectric overboot with a vulcanised rubber sole for superior slip resistance. Designed to be worn over safety boots and allows live working at up to 7.5kV with every boot tested to 10kV.
Ingenious rear entry design ensures the boot is quick and easy to fit and remove
Ideal for personnel who have to continually enter and exit hazardous areas
Single piece injection moulded construction with integral moulded fastener ensures there are no seams or mounting/fastener holes to leak
No metal fasteners or components used in the construction, removing the potential for chemical corrosion
Injection moulded using our proprietary Dielectric compound for a seamless boot with excellent electrical insulation properties
Fuel and oil resistant sole
Vulcanized rubber sole for greatly improved slip resistance in wet and oily conditions (SRC)
Durable, cut-resistant vulcanised rubber sole, significantly extends working life, even in harsh terrain
Heat resistant sole EN 20347:2012 HRO, 60 seconds at 300°C
CE marked with date and year of manufacture
Machine washable at up to 40°C

EN 50321:2018EN 50321:2018 Electrical Insulated Footwear. Class 00 = provide protection up to a maximum working voltage of 500V, used at this class for wiring and other electrical maintenance. CLASS 0 = protect workers in areas where electrical stunning equipment is used, such as abattoirs, boots with electrical protection to EN 50321-1:2018 Class 0 are required. Dielectric class 0 safety boots are suitable for areas with a maximum working voltage of 1kV. Class 1 = suitable for areas with a maximum working voltage of 7.5kV and are available also as overboots ideal for personnel who have to continually enter and exit high voltage areas. CLASS 2 = protect from risk of electric shock from high voltages suitable for utility workers, electricians and telecom live working up to voltages of 17.5kV. CLASS 3 = provides protection to a maximum working voltage suitable for use in evironments with a maximum working voltage of 26.5kV. CLASS 4 = provide protection up to a maximum working voltage of 36000V. This gives the highest certified level of electrical protection available. At time of writing there are currently no Class 4 dielectric boots available in the market.
