RA-700R Rechargeable 700 Lumen High CRI Rechargeable Right Angle Work Light

The Unilite RA-700R angle work light has a maximum 700 lumens white output from the high CRI COB LED with a colour temperature of 6500K, and also features a red constant and red flashing output.

A useful feature of this torch is that the head is rotatable within a 130° angle so that the light can be easily directed where desired for convenient and versatile use. For hands free use, the RA-700R has a strong magnet on the base so it can be attached to a magnetic surface, and it also has a detachable 140° rotating carabiner hanging hook on the back.

Colour rendering index (CRI) is a measurement of a light sources ability to faithfully reveal the true colour of an object in comparison to a natural light source such as sunlight and is measured between 0-100. The RA-700R white light has a high CRI 96+ value, which means the quality of the light source is extremely good and shows colours in their true form and also helps reduce eye strain that lower CRI lights can cause.

As well as a high CRI white output, the COB LED can also be switch the the red mode. Red light is the best colour for protecting the natural night vision of your eyes and reduces eye strain in low light situations. It is a great lighting source for aircraft cockpits, truck cabins, confined spaces and also useful for particular tasks such as map reading, astronomy and animal watching, while the red flashing can help attract attention in an emergency or make others aware of your presence.

The torch is operated with the push button on the front of the torch, and will cycle through either white high, white mid and white low, or between red static and red flashing with each press. If the light is left in any mode longer than 3 seconds then the next press will turn the light off rather than cycling the outputs. When the light is turned on you can changed between the white and red outputs by holding down the button until it switches over.

Utilising a built-in rechargeable 4500 mAh lithium-ion battery, the RA-700R provides a run-time of up to 3 hours, 30 minutes on the highest setting and is easily charged back up using the supplied USB Type C charging cable via two methods. Either pop open the rubber dust cover on the back of the torch and insert the Type C end of the cable to charge directly, or sit the torch in the included magnetic charging station and insert the Type C end into the back of the charging station, then plug the other end in to a USB source with an output of up to 2 A.

The charging indicator on the side will turn red to show charging is in progress and turn blue once charging is complete after approximately 3 hours. The same indicator will also display the battery power when in use with a blue light for 30-100 %, red for 5-30 % and flashing red for below 5% indicating that the light should be charged as soon as possible.

It is a super tough copolymer, TPR and aluminium construction, with a black and fluorescent yellow body design, as well as a glow in the dark strip around the reflector for increased visibility.
