Belgium Firefighter jacket

This firefighter suit was especially made for the Belgian fire squad. The suit combines a high mechanical resistance with excellent thermal protection. Several brigades who have been using this suit intensively for a number of years now, confirmed the longevity of the suit. Repairs are negligible. A five-year-old suit was exposed to the Thermo-Man® Test. The result was astonishing: this older suit performed as good as a new suit. The suit is available in three colours: gold, blue, orange with orange shoulders (stock available only in gold).

The 830 Twin assembly combines comfort, protection and lightness. It has an excellent heat resistance, is breathable and has very good insulating properties. Thousands of firefighters across Europe are using this assembly.

The Twin fabric has a specific two-sided construction. The Twin has a long life span and a good mechanical resistance: it doesn't break open after a flashover. This fabric is used daily by many firefighters worldwide, its high performance is well‑established.

Following their risk assessment, firemen sometimes ask for a membrane that is not only breathable but also very heat resistant. That is why we developed our own solution: the SIO-A.I.R barrier PTFE. We have laminated a base layer of PTFE on a 3D felt of 100% aramid.

The jacket of our Belgium suit includes plenty of pockets to put away all of the fireman's tools and accessories (i.e. pockets to put away your gloves, a radio pocket, etc.). Reinforcements were added on the elbows and shoulders. In addition, the jacket is clearly visible thanks to the fluorescent and retroreflective striping with glass beads.
